* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Central Burke County in western North Carolina... * WHEN...Until 500 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1122 AM EDT, Flooding continued across portions of the upper Catawba basin. The John's river will remain in flood all afternoon with floodwaters affecting portions of Johns River and Corpening Bridge roads within the warned area. Localized out of bank conditions along the Catawba River proper above Lake Rhodhiss is also possible. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
