The notice as issued
Storm surge continues in Tuktoyaktuk. The highest water levels are expected to reach 80 to 90 cm above highest astronomical tide early this morning and may cause moderate flooding. These conditions can cause damage to infrastructure near the coast, including boats beached or anchored along the shoreline. This warning is issued when high water levels pose a threat to coastal regions due to tides, storm surge and/or waves. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. To report severe weather, send an email to NTstorm@ec.gc.ca, call 1-800-239-0484 or post reports on social media using #NTStorm.
