The notice as issued

Blizzard conditions with poor visibility in snow and blowing snow are expected. What: - Very strong winds gusting to 90 km/h near the Richardson Mountains - Blizzard conditions near the Richardson Mountains When: - Monday morning to early Tuesday morning. Where: Dempster Highway. Additional information: The blizzard conditions have ended. Occasional blowing snow will continue tonight with lighter wind speeds and a chance of flurries. Blizzard conditions will redevelop on Monday morning and continue through Monday night. Very strong easterly winds gusting to 90 km/h will redevelop near the Richardson Mountains Monday morning. A front will also bring 5 to 10 cm snow to the region by Tuesday morning. Falling snow will combine with the very strong easterly winds near the Richardson Mountains to produce blizzard conditions with near-zero visibility. Blizzard conditions are possible on Tuesday. Travel will likely be hazardous in some locations. Road closures are possible. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
