TORAKQ The National Weather Service in Wakefield has issued a * Tornado Warning for... East central Wicomico County in southeastern Maryland... Northeastern Worcester County in southeastern Maryland... * Until 915 PM EDT. * At 823 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Newark, or 12 miles east of Salisbury, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. * This dangerous storm will be near... Berlin and Newark around 830 PM EDT. Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Ironshire, West Ocean City, Whiton, Ocean City Municipality, and Powellville.
