Volusia-Brevard County Line to Sebastian Inlet 20-60 nm... * Until 730 PM EDT. * At 530 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts were located along a line extending from 10 nm east of Port Canaveral to 25 nm east of Jetty Park to 44 nm east of Melbourne Beach, moving northeast at 15 knots. HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Waterspouts can can quickly form and capsize boats, damage vessels and create locally hazardous seas. Make sure all on board are wearing life jackets. Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots, suddenly higher waves, lightning and heavy downpours. Make sure all on board are wearing life jackets. Return to safe harbor if possible. * Severe thunderstorms will remain over mainly open waters.
