For the following areas... Coastal waters from Pensacola FL to Pascagoula MS out 20 NM... Mississippi Sound... South Mobile Bay... At 331 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts was located near Western Dauphin Island, moving north at 20 knots. HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. Locations impacted include... East Fowl River Bridge, Sand Island Lighthouse, Farewell Buoy, Mississippi Sound East Of Pascagoula, Heron Bay, Central Dauphin Island, Fort Gaines, Dauphin Island Bridge, Fort Morgan, and Western Dauphin Island.

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes. Thunderstorms can produce sudden waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Seek safe harbor immediately.
