Lake Ontario from Oswego to Stony Point... * Until 300 PM EDT. * At 159 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Stony Point, or 22 nm north of Mexico Bay, moving southeast at 20 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include... Oswego, Mexico Bay, Southwick Beach, North Pond, Henderson Harbor, Selkirk Beach, Stony Point, and Sandy Island Beach.

Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are expected. Frequent lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded metal objects.
