Perdido Bay Area... * Until 1100 PM CDT. * At 952 PM CDT, a strong thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts was located near Arnica Bay, or near Perdido Pass, moving northeast at 10 knots. HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include... Arnica Bay, Orange Beach, Big Lagoon, Pensacola Pass, Perdido Bay, Fort Pickens, and Perdido Pass.
