Coastal waters from Pascagoula Mississippi to Stake Island out 20 NM... * Until 400 PM CDT. * At 318 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts was located 11 NM southeast of Horn Island, moving north at 15 knots. HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to 34 knots. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include... Horn Island and Pascagoula.
