Laguna Madre From the Port Of Brownsville to the Arroyo Colorado... * Until 615 AM CDT. * At 549 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts was located over Boca Chica Beach, or near Port Isabel, moving southwest at 10 knots. HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include... Queen Isabella Causeway, Port Isabel, South Padre Island, and Laguna Vista.
