SMWCRP The National Weather Service in Corpus Christi has issued a * Special Marine Warning for... Corpus Christi and Nueces Bays... Copano, Aransas, and Redfish Bays... * Until 900 PM CDT. * At 753 PM CDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line from 19 NM northwest of Corpus Christi North Beach to 10 NM west of Downtown Corpus Christi, or along a line from 19 NM northwest of Portland to 14 NM west of Portland, moving east at 25 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include... Corpus Christi North Beach, Portland, Downtown Corpus Christi, Ingleside On The Bay and Port Aransas.

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass. Wind gusts 34 knots or greater, high waves, dangerous lightning, and heavy rain are possible with these storms.
