Waters from Surf City NC to Little River Inlet SC from 20 to 60 NM... * Until 230 PM EDT. * At 122 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Surf City to near Topsail Boxcars to 10 Mile Rocks, moving southeast at 25 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include... Liberty Ship, Dallas Rock, Billy Murrell Reef, Topsail Boxcars, Topsail Tire Reef, Johnny Mercer Pier, Rich Inlet, Wr2, Harris Reef, 10 Mile Rocks, and Figure Eight Island.
