Coastal and outer waters from Sandy Hook to Little Egg Inlet NJ... * Until 445 PM EDT. * At 309 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Barnegat Light Reef, moving northeast at 25 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include... Ocean Gate, Barnegat Light, Garden State North Reef, Shark River Reef, Seaside Park, Barnegat Light Reef, Harvey Cedars, Forked River, Lavallette, and Pine Beach.

Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are expected. Frequent lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the open water, stay below deck if possible and keep away from ungrounded metal objects.
