Waters from Deerfield Beach to Ocean Reef FL from 20 to 60 NM excluding the territorial waters of Bahamas... * Until 1130 AM EDT. * At 1029 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts was located 12 nm east of Cape Florida, moving northwest at 30 knots. HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include... Sunny Isles, Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, Key Biscayne, Hallandale, Fort Lauderdale, Cape Florida, Virginia Key, Bay Harbor Islands, Soldier Key, Port Everglades, Miami Beach, Sea Ranch Lakes, Bal Harbour, Triumph Reef, Golden Beach, Surfside, North Bay Village, Indian Creek, Pompano Beach, and Hollywood.
