Waters from Deerfield Beach to Ocean Reef FL from 20 to 60 NM excluding the territorial waters of Bahamas... * Until 900 AM EDT. * At 801 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts were located along a line extending from 28 nm east of Triumph Reef to 10 nm east of Carysfort Reef Light, moving northwest at 25 knots. HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include... Convoy Point, Turkey Point, Card Sound, Key Biscayne, Biscayne Bay, Pacific Reef, Black Point, Cape Florida, Virginia Key, Bay Harbor Islands, Soldier Key, Miami Beach, Elliott Key, Bal Harbour, Triumph Reef, Surfside, Indian Creek, North Bay Village, and Coral Gables.
