Coastal waters from Deerfield Beach to Ocean Reef FL out 20 NM... * Until 445 PM EDT. * At 343 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts was located over Pacific Reef, moving northwest at 15 knots. HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to 40 knots. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include... Elliott Key, Pacific Reef, Convoy Point, and Turkey Point.
