Western Warren County in central North Carolina... * Until 515 PM EDT. * At 425 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles west of Norlina, or 11 miles northwest of Warrenton, moving southeast at 10 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Warrenton, Norlina, Middleburg, Macon, Afton, Steele Creek Marina & Campground, Kerr Lake, Wise, Satterwhite Point Marina and Drewry. This includes Interstate 85 between Mile Markers 218 and 233.
