Northwestern Monroe County in western New York... * Until 1030 PM EDT. * At 936 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Newfane, or 10 miles north of Lockport, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Lockport, Brockport, Medina, Albion, Hamlin Beach State Park, Newfane, Middleport, Holley, Waterport, and Lakeside Beach State Park.
