Western Marathon County in central Wisconsin... * Until 515 PM CDT. * At 427 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 15 miles west of Rib Mountain, or 16 miles west of Wausau, moving southeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and small hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * This severe thunderstorm will be near... Wausau around 500 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by the severe thunderstorm include Poniatowski, Rib Falls, Edgar, Fenwood and Marathon City.

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
