Lucas County in northwestern Ohio... * Until 545 PM EDT. * At 408 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Delta, or near Swanton, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor damage to vehicles is possible. Expect damage to trees and power lines. * Locations impacted include... Toledo, Swanton, Perrysburg, Oregon, Sylvania, Rossford, Waterville, Northwood, Whitehouse, Holland, Maumee, Ottawa Hills, Walbridge, Millbury, Haskins, Tontogany, Berkey, Harbor View, Reno Beach, and Bono.

What the agency told people to do

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
