Northern Sedgwick County in northeastern Colorado... * Until 900 PM MDT. * At 810 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles northeast of Proctor, or 23 miles northeast of Sterling, moving northeast at 50 mph. THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR CROOK, TWIN BUTTES. HAZARD...Baseball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be severely injured. Expect shattered windows, extensive damage to roofs, siding, and vehicles. * Locations impacted include... Julesburg, Ovid, Sedgwick, Crook, Twin Buttes and Proctor.
