Southeastern Greenville County in Upstate South Carolina... * Until 515 PM EDT. * At 408 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 15 miles northwest of Laurens, or 8 miles southwest of Fountain Inn, moving southeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. * Locations impacted include... Princeton, Hickory Tavern, Fork Shoals, and Laurens.
