Northeastern Granville County in central North Carolina... * Until 600 PM EDT. * At 454 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles south of Clarksville, or 12 miles north of Oxford, moving southeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Henderson, Oxford, Norlina, Kittrell, Stovall, Middleburg, Gillburg, Steele Creek Marina & Campground, Kerr Lake and South Henderson. This includes Interstate 85 between Mile Markers 197 and 230.
