Central Johnston County in central North Carolina... South central Franklin County in central North Carolina... * Until 500 PM EDT. * At 353 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 6 miles southeast of Bunn to 6 miles southwest of Zebulon, moving southeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Smithfield, Wilson, Garner, Clayton, Zebulon, Elm City, Fremont, Bailey, Knightdale and Micro. This includes the following highways... Interstate 95 between Mile Markers 127 and 90. Interstate 40 near Mile Marker 304. NC Highway 264 between Mile Markers 20 and 55.
