East Central Douglas County in northeastern Colorado... * Until 1030 PM MDT. * At 952 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Ponderosa Park, or 29 miles southeast of Denver, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail. SOURCE...Public reported half dollar size hail at 9:46 pm near Ponderosa Park. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Eastern Parker, Elizabeth, Kiowa, Ponderosa Park and The Pinery.
