Liberty County in southeastern Georgia... * Until 500 PM EDT. * At 400 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles southeast of Ellabell, moving east at 5 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Hinesville, Richmond Hill, Fort Stewart, McIntosh, Midway, Flemington, Ellabell, Burroughs, Belfast and Keller. This includes the following highways... I-16 between mile markers 146 and 147. I-95 in Georgia between mile markers 77 and 96.

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large hail. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
