Northwestern Ramsey County in northeastern North Dakota... * Until 300 AM CDT. * At 153 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Leeds, or 26 miles east of Rugby, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Two inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Cando, Leeds, Penn, Webster, Harlow, Brinsmade, and York.

This is a dangerous storm. Prepare immediately for large destructive hail capable of producing significant damage. People outside should move to shelter inside a strong building, and stay away from windows. This thunderstorm is capable of producing all types of severe weather including extremely large hail, destructive straight line winds and tornadoes. Move quickly to a safe shelter such as an interior room, a bathroom, closet or basement.
