Alert Details
A Special Marine Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service in Corpus Christi, TX. The alert is effective from 2:56 AM CDT on May 11, 2026, until 4:00 AM CDT on May 11, 2026.
Affected Areas
The warning covers Coastal waters from Baffin Bay to Port Aransas out 20 NM; Coastal waters from Port Aransas to Matagorda Ship Channel out 20 NM; Waters from Baffin Bay to Port Aransas from 20 to 60 NM; and Waters from Port Aransas to Matagorda Ship Channel from 20 to 60 NM.

Severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts are moving southeast at 40 knots. Hazards include waterspouts and wind gusts in excess of 50 knots, with suddenly higher waves.
