Alert Details

A Special Marine Warning was issued by the National Weather Service in Mobile AL. The alert is effective from 6:54 AM CDT to 8:30 AM CDT on May 27, 2026.

Affected Areas

Coastal waters from Okaloosa-Walton County Line to Pensacola FL out 20 NM and waters from Okaloosa-Walton County Line to Pensacola FL from 20 to 60 NM. Locations impacted include Okaloosa Deep Water Reef and Oriskany Reef.

Expected Conditions

Strong thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts were located along a line extending from 16 nm south of Oriskany Reef to 12 nm southwest of Okaloosa Deep Water Reef, moving north at 15 knots. Hazards include waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.
