Affected Areas
North Mobile Bay; South Mobile Bay; Mississippi Sound; Perdido Bay Area; Pensacola Bay Area including Santa Rosa Sound; Coastal waters from Pensacola FL to Pascagoula MS out 20 NM; Waters from Pensacola FL to Pascagoula MS from 20 to 60 NM. Locations impacted include Pinto Island, Big Lagoon, East Fowl River Bridge, Fort Pickens, Farewell Buoy, Mississippi Sound East Of Pascagoula, Heron Bay, Battleship Park, Point Clear, and Weeks Bay.
What You Should Do
Avoid the area. Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves.
