Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are expected. Make sure all on board are wearing life jackets. Frequent cloud to water lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the open water stay below deck and, if possible, avoid ungrounded metal objects.

At 8:15 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 10 nm northeast of Playalinda Beach, moving southeast at 15 knots. Hazards include wind gusts to 40 knots and small hail. Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots, suddenly higher waves, lightning and heavy downpours.
