Affected Areas
Currituck Sound; Coastal waters from NC VA border to Currituck Beach Light NC out 20 NM. Locations impacted include Currituck Beach Light, Currituck Beach, Currituck Sound, Knotts Island Bay, Deal Island, and Kill Devil Hills.

Expected Conditions
Strong thunderstorms located along a line extending from 22 nm south of Monitor Merrimack Bridge Tunnel to 23 nm west of Knotts Island Bay to 18 nm northwest of The Mouth Of The Perquimans River, moving east to southeast at 35 knots. Hazard includes wind gusts to 40 knots. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves.
