Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes. Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Boats could suffer significant structural damage in high winds. Small craft could capsize in suddenly higher waves.
Expected Conditions
At 1:55 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts was located 11 nm east of Riviera Beach, or 36 nm south of Portland, moving southeast at 65 knots. Hazards include waterspouts and wind gusts in excess of 50 knots.
