Special Marine Warning issued by NWS Charleston SC. Effective from June 19, 2026 at 8:51 AM EDT until June 19, 2026 at 10:45 AM EDT.
Affected Areas
Waters from South Santee River SC to Edisto Beach SC extending from 20 to 60 NM. Locations impacted include Edisto Buoy, Comanche Reef and Doug Mellichamp Reef.

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes. Seek safe shelter. Mariners can expect gusty winds and increasing waves.
Expected Conditions
Strong thunderstorms located along a line from near Cape Romain Reef to 11 NM east of Edisto Offshore Reef, moving southeast at 30 knots. Wind gusts to 34 knots.
