A Special Marine Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service in Tallahassee FL. The alert is effective from 8:33 PM EDT on August 12, 2026, until 10:30 PM EDT on August 12, 2026.

Coastal Waters From Ochlockonee River to Apalachicola FL out to 20 Nm and Waters from Suwannee River to Apalachicola FL from 20 to 60 NM. Impacted locations include S Tower, V Tower, O Tower, C Tower, St George Island, and K Tower.

Expected Conditions
Strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 21 nm north of O Tower to 7 nm north of K Tower to 9 nm south of Marker 24 Barge to 7 nm northwest of Buckeye Reef, moving south at 15 knots. Hazards include wind gusts 34 knots or greater, suddenly higher waves, frequent lightning, and heavy downpours.
