A Special Marine Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service in Miami FL. The alert is effective from 1:52 PM EDT on May 13, 2026, until 3:00 PM EDT on May 13, 2026.
Affected Areas
The warning covers Biscayne Bay; Coastal waters from Jupiter Inlet to Deerfield Beach FL out 20 NM; Coastal waters from Deerfield Beach to Ocean Reef FL out 20 NM; Waters from Jupiter Inlet to Deerfield Beach FL from 20 to 60 NM; and Waters from Deerfield Beach to Ocean Reef FL from 20 to 60 NM excluding the territorial waters of Bahamas. Impacted locations include Sunny Isles, Ocean Ridge, Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, Palm Beach, Hallandale, Hypoluxo, Fort Lauderdale, Lighthouse Point, Pompano Beach, Hillsboro Beach, Gulf Stream, Delray Beach, Port Everglades, Boca Raton, Highland Beach, South Palm Beach, Sea Ranch Lakes, Golden Beach, Manalapan, and Briny Breezes.

Expected Conditions
Severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts were located along a line extending from near Highland Beach to near Hollywood, moving east at 25 knots. Hazards include waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.
