A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service Houston/Galveston TX. The alert is effective from May 19 at 10:21 PM CDT until May 19 at 11:15 PM CDT.

At 10:20 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Rockdale to 6 miles west of Fedor to 6 miles southwest of Cedar Creek, moving southeast at 25 mph. Hazards include 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail (1.00 inch). Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Torrential rainfall is occurring and may lead to flash flooding.
