A Severe Thunderstorm Warning (SVR) has been issued by the National Weather Service in Salt Lake City UT. The alert is effective from August 31, 2026 at 12:04 PM MDT until August 31, 2026 at 12:45 PM MDT.

Expected Conditions
At 12:04 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles southeast of Sand Hollow State Park, or 15 miles west of Colorado City, moving northeast at 25 mph. Hazards include 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail (1.00 inch). Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
