Southwestern Hitchcock County in southwestern Nebraska. Storm located 4 miles southeast of Stratton or 9 miles southwest of Trenton at time of issuance.

What You Should Do

Remain alert for a possible tornado. If you spot a tornado, go at once into the basement or small central room in a sturdy structure. Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Move indoors immediately due to large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

Tennis ball size hail (2.5 inch observed) and 60 mph wind gusts. Storm moving southeast at 15 mph. Torrential rainfall may lead to flash flooding.
