A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ. The alert is effective from September 1 at 8:26 PM EDT until September 1 at 9:15 PM EDT.
Affected Areas
The warning covers northwestern Atlantic County, northeastern Cumberland County, south central Camden County, and southeastern Gloucester County in southern New Jersey. Locations impacted include Vineland, Glassboro, Hammonton, Clayton, Buena, Egg Harbor City, Weymouth, Newfield, Franklinville, Victory Lakes, Sicklerville, Williamstown, Elwood-Magnolia, Malaga, Mizpah, Monroe Township, Folsom, and Collings Lakes. This includes Atlantic City Expressway between mile markers 18 and 40.

Expected Conditions
At 8:25 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Monroe Township, or 13 miles north of Vineland, moving southeast at 20 mph. Hazards include 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. Quarter sized hail was reported in Williamstown. Minor damage to vehicles is possible. Wind damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is possible.
