Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued by NWS Charleston WV. Effective from September 4 at 1:32 PM EDT until September 4 at 2:15 PM EDT.
Affected Areas
Central Washington County in southeastern Ohio; Southwestern Pleasants County, Northwestern Ritchie County, Northeastern Wirt County, and Northeastern Wood County in northwestern West Virginia. Locations impacted include Parkersburg, Marietta, Vienna, Williamstown, Boaz, Mineralwells, North Hills, Willow Island, Walker, Nutter Farm, Petroleum, Schultz, Waverly, Freeport, Greencastle, and Davisville. Interstate 77 in West Virginia between mile markers 171 and 186; Route 50 in West Virginia between mile markers 7 and 32.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
