Alert Details
A Severe Thunderstorm Warning was issued by the National Weather Service in Wakefield VA on May 27 at 6:40 PM EDT. The alert is effective from 2026-05-27T18:40:00-04:00 until 2026-05-27T19:45:00-04:00.
Affected Areas
The warning covers Northwestern Bertie County, Southeastern Northampton County, and Southwestern Hertford County in northeastern North Carolina. The storm was located near Halifax and will be near Rich Square around 720 PM EDT, Roxobel around 725 PM EDT, and Aulander around 740 PM EDT.
