Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued by NWS Aberdeen SD. Effective from 10:07 PM CDT June 9, 2026 until 11:00 PM CDT June 9, 2026. Event code: SVR.
Affected Areas
Western Edmunds County, Northwestern Faulk County, Southeastern Campbell County, Northeastern Potter County, and Western McPherson County in north central South Dakota. Severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 6 miles west of Hillsview to near Tolstoy, moving northeast at 50 mph. Towns in path include Eureka, Hosmer, Hillsview around 10:15 PM CDT and Roscoe around 10:20 PM CDT, plus New Town Corner.
