Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued by NWS Wakefield VA. Effective from 3:48 PM EDT to 4:30 PM EDT on June 10, 2026.

Affected Areas

Southwestern Mecklenburg County in south central Virginia. The storm was located near Dryburg, or 9 miles southwest of Redoak, moving east at 25 mph. It will be near Buffalo Springs around 3:55 PM EDT and Clarksville around 4:05 PM EDT. Other impacted locations include Nelson, Richardson, Buffalo Junction, John H Kerr Dam, Finchley, Eppes Fork, John H Kerr Reservoir, and Skipwith.
