At 5:36 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles west of Tryon, moving east at 25 mph. Hazards include 60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail (1.25 inches). Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees is possible. Accumulating hail is possible.
