Alert Details
A Severe Thunderstorm Warning (SVR) has been issued by the National Weather Service in Corpus Christi TX. The alert is effective from May 26, 2026 at 9:37 PM CDT until May 26, 2026 at 10:15 PM CDT.

The warning covers Northeastern La Salle County, McMullen County, and Northwestern Live Oak County in south central Texas. Locations impacted include George West, Three Rivers, Tilden, Choke Canyon, Cross, Fowlerton, Calliham, Zella, Oakville, Crowther, Simmons, Whitsett, Esseville, and Ray Point. Affected highways include Interstate 37 between mile markers 64 and 83 and US Highway 281 between mile markers 618 and 630.

At 9:36 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Zella to Fowlerton to 11 miles southeast of Los Angeles, moving east at 40 mph. Hazards include 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail (1.00 inch). Hail damage to vehicles is expected along with wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
