A Severe Thunderstorm Warning (SVR) has been issued by the National Weather Service in Buffalo NY. The alert is effective from September 2, 2026 at 8:59 PM EDT until September 2, 2026 at 10:15 PM EDT.
Affected Areas
Northwestern Jefferson County in central New York, including Clayton, Dexter, Wellesley Island State Park, Cedar Point State Park, Brownville, Cape Vincent, Chaumont, Three Mile Bay, Millen Bay, and Grindstone. This includes Interstate 81 between exits 161 and 162.
