Northern Steele County in southeastern North Dakota... * Until 115 PM CDT. * At 1212 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Lakota to 6 miles north of McVille to near Binford, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. Automated wind sensors are reporting wind gusts up to 70 mph. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. * Locations impacted include... Grand Forks AFB, Larimore, Northwood, Hatton, Portland, Golden Lake, and Finley.
