Alert Details
A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service in Goodland KS. The alert is effective from May 16 at 8:17 PM CDT until May 16 at 9:30 PM CDT.
Affected Areas
The warning covers Graham County, southern Norton County, and eastern Sheridan County in northwestern Kansas.

Expected Conditions
At 8:16 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 3 miles northeast of Selden to 4 miles north of Park, moving east at 60 mph. Hazards include 70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. A 75 mph wind gust was reported 7 miles north-northeast of Angelus. Impacts include hail damage to vehicles, considerable tree damage, and wind damage to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Thunderstorms will produce strong winds resulting in areas of near zero visibility in blowing dirt.
