Central Ellsworth County in central Kansas... * Until 1000 PM CDT. * At 857 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Lorraine, or 13 miles east of Claflin, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Ellsworth, Kanopolis, Bushton, Lorraine, Frederick, and Ellsworth Airport. This includes Interstate 70 between Mile Markers 218 and 228.
